Your health data is not our business model.

Strap data travels to your iPhone over Bluetooth. EveryBand processes strap and authorized Health data on-device, with optional exports and sharing under your control.

Boop is becoming EveryBand. The iPhone app and TestFlight listing still use Boop for now.

On-device processing, with exports you control

EveryBand reads supported strap data over Bluetooth, processes it on your iPhone, and writes permitted records to Apple Health. EveryBand does not upload strap history or Apple Health data to EveryBand-operated servers.

You can choose to export or share files and authorize Apple Health writes. Those actions can move data outside EveryBand. Apple Health synchronization and device backup follow your Apple settings; this policy does not claim that no health data ever leaves the phone.

Optional diagnostic exports can include original biometric bytes and device identifiers. They are shared only when you explicitly choose a destination.

Local app storage can contain offload progress, decoded samples, export identifiers, derived estimates, settings, and an activity log needed to recover safely and avoid duplicate writes.

Apple Health access

Depending on the feature, EveryBand may request read access to date of birth, biological sex, height, body mass, sleep, HRV (SDNN), heart rate, resting heart rate, activity, and body composition, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation, wrist temperature, VO₂ max, and supported Health history. It may request write access for heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability (SDNN), steps, sleep analysis, workouts, active energy, basal energy, and heartbeat series.

Apple Health access is optional; choose Set Up Later during onboarding. You decide each permission. EveryBand records which outputs are estimates and includes its algorithm version in Health metadata where supported.

The current TestFlight beta includes optional Apple Health input, with or without a strap. This path uses sleep, HRV (SDNN), resting heart rate and activity already recorded by Apple Watch or other Health sources. It is not a live Apple Watch stream or a watchOS app. Direct strap Bluetooth features remain available.

A missing reading does not prove that read access was denied. Data availability depends on what your devices and apps saved to Health and which types you permit EveryBand to read. Imported Health readings are not automatically written back as new EveryBand records.

No account or app telemetry

The Boop iPhone app has no user account, advertising SDK, analytics SDK, third-party crash-reporting SDK, tracking pixel, cross-app tracking, or health-data cloud. Apple system diagnostics and distribution services follow Apple’s policies and your device settings. PostHog is not embedded in the iPhone app. EveryBand does not sell or rent personal data. App data is not intentionally synchronized through an app-operated iCloud container.

Boop Full and on-device guidance

Apple handles the optional one-time Boop Full purchase and restoration. EveryBand does not collect payment card details or require an EveryBand account.

Ask Boop uses Apple Intelligence when available and deterministic on-device guidance otherwise. Questions and health context are not sent to a third-party model. Journal entries and supported workout routes remain in local app storage.

Website analytics only

PostHog is used only on the EveryBand website (every.band)—not in the Boop iPhone app. The old domains redirect to every.band. Website analytics help us understand aggregate traffic, page views, TestFlight short-link use, newsletter and contact outcomes, and basic interaction patterns. It does not receive strap data, Apple Health data, contact-message bodies, or newsletter message content.

Optional analytics run only after you choose “Accept all” on the cookie banner (or later via Cookie settings in the footer). Essential storage may still remember theme and your consent choice. If you choose “Essential only,” PostHog does not initialize or capture analytics.

When enabled, PostHog may set first-party cookies or local storage identifiers and can capture page URLs, referrers, device and browser metadata, rough location derived from IP, click and scroll behavior, and optionally session recordings with form inputs masked. Events are sent through a first-party path on this site to PostHog’s US Cloud.

This website uses no advertising SDKs and does not sell analytics data. Hosting may still retain limited operational logs such as IP address, request time, and user agent for security and reliability.

Website and email

When you use X70 Help or a connected contact form, your name, email address, and message go to Help at help.x70.one. The shared Convex support backend stores the conversation; an OpenAI model may process your question with approved app documentation to provide an automated answer. Resend delivers answers and private return links. Human support can continue in the same thread. Do not send health data, logs, identifiers, or screenshots through this form. Voluntary screenshots on X70 Help have separate redaction and retention guidance.

Messages sent directly by email, or through a contact form before its Help connection is enabled, are delivered to our support mailbox through Resend and follow normal mailbox retention. They can be deleted on request when identifiable.

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is added to the existing x70 mailing audience through the same email delivery processor. It is used for EveryBand release, compatibility, and support updates until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion.

When Help is connected, a necessary x70_help_visitor cookie lasts up to 30 days and limits repeated submissions. Help receives one-way visitor and network identifiers rather than your raw IP address. Rate counters expire after their daily window and are removed by scheduled cleanup. Cloudflare Turnstile processes browser and technical request information to check for automated abuse. The existing email form also uses a rate-limit processor for up to 24 hours; that processor does not receive your message contents.

Deletion and control

Delete Boop to remove its local app container. Manage or delete records written by Boop from Apple Health’s data-source controls. X70 Help removes resolved support transcripts after 90 days and their screenshots after 30 days. Unresolved requests remain until resolved; abandoned anonymous questions expire after seven days of inactivity. You can request deletion of identifiable support records. Copies in your email and provider backups follow their own retention policies. Newsletter emails include an unsubscribe option.

Change website analytics consent anytime with Cookie settings in the footer, or clear site cookies and local storage for the EveryBand domain you used (every.band, boop.band, b00p.tech, or boop.x70.one). For deletion of retained analytics records when they can be identified, or other privacy questions, use the contact page.
