EveryBand vs Sixteen: features, data paths and pricing

A sourced comparison of EveryBand and Sixteen: supported straps, Health input, local scoring, coaching services, nutrition, screen controls and purchase options.

Boop is becoming EveryBand. The iPhone app and TestFlight listing still use Boop for now.

Last updated: October 16, 2026

Two independent apps with different priorities

EveryBand and Sixteen both offer independent wellness interpretation using wearable data. EveryBand emphasizes supported direct strap access, optional Health input and export, and on-device analysis without an EveryBand account. Sixteen combines wearable insights with nutrition logging and controls that connect habits to screen time.

Those additional Sixteen features are meaningful reasons to choose it. EveryBand does not advertise meal-photo recognition or app blocking. This comparison explains the available choices without assuming one set of priorities suits everyone.

The hardware comparison follows Sixteen's explicit model FAQ, reviewed 16 October 2026. Read our compatibility limits too: a supported model does not guarantee every signal or firmware configuration.

Compare specific data paths

Both products describe local numeric scoring. Sixteen should not be characterized as processing every health record in the cloud. Its privacy policy distinguishes local health scoring from optional backup/sync, server-held journal and coach content, and server/provider processing for coaching and meal-photo features.

EveryBand processes strap and Health data on your iPhone without an EveryBand health-data cloud or app analytics. Ask Boop uses Apple Intelligence when available, with deterministic local guidance as fallback. Numeric scores use deterministic software rather than asking a language model to calculate them.

Your own exports, Apple Health synchronization and device backups remain separate choices. Optional consent-based analytics apply to the EveryBand website, not its iPhone app. Read the privacy explanation for those boundaries.

Check both price and availability

At review, Sixteen's pricing page published US$99 lifetime or US$19.99 monthly, with local prices varying. These are website-published amounts, not a verified quote for your storefront. Its about page states there is no free tier or trial.

EveryBand has no subscription. Its optional one-time purchase remains named Boop Full, and no production currency amount is published here. Check the localized purchase sheet when a paid purchase is available. App Store release is pending; free TestFlight sandbox transactions do not become App Store ownership. Without a verified Full amount, a numerical savings claim would be misleading.

Which app fits your routine?

Sixteen may fit if combining food logging, screen controls and wearable interpretation is your goal. Evaluate its specific features, permissions and service disclosures together rather than selecting it solely for a familiar score name.

EveryBand may fit if your priority is supported direct strap access, optional Health pathways and its local analysis/purchase model. Check the methodology first: current Recovery needs local nightly RMSSD, resting heart rate, Sleep and sufficient prior nights. Its documented Health SDNN input stays separate, so Watch-only Recovery can remain unavailable. Neither app's marketing establishes that its scores are medically superior.
