Missing Apple Health data? Check the path in order

Troubleshoot EveryBand Health imports and exports by checking the original record, permissions, source choice, timing and locked-phone behavior.

Boop is becoming EveryBand. The iPhone app and TestFlight listing still use Boop for now.

Identify which direction is missing

There are two separate paths: EveryBand reading records already saved in Apple Health, and EveryBand writing permitted records to Health. A successful import does not prove export is enabled. A record visible inside Boop is not automatically eligible for a Health write.

Start with one missing category and one time period. For example, check last night's sleep rather than describing the entire connection as broken. The installed app remains named Boop while the website uses EveryBand; look for Boop when reviewing its access.

Check TestFlight for the build available to your device. Setup labels and supported behavior can differ between betas.

Confirm the original record exists

For an import problem, open the category in Health and inspect its recent records and source. If the expected record is absent there, first check the device or originating app. EveryBand cannot read data that has not been written.

For a direct-strap problem, look at Boop's connection status and activity log. Confirm Bluetooth is enabled and the charged strap is in range. Keep the app open while an initial history import completes. These checks distinguish source collection from a Health permission problem.

Check the measurement time as well as when you opened an app. A delayed upload from another source can arrive later with an earlier observation time.

Review permissions and source choice

Health access is granted per category and direction. Review Boop's requested access in Health or the corresponding iOS Health settings. Grant only the types you want; denied access is not bypassed.

Also review the data source selected during Boop setup and the available Health categories. If you use several wearables, do not assume every reading came from the same one. Apple's source controls help identify contributors, while EveryBand applies its own rules when resolving available records. Neither setting creates an absent measurement.

After changing a permission, return to the app and refresh the relevant day. Avoid repeatedly toggling everything before checking the specific missing category.

Allow for timing and protected data

Another app may need to run or sync its device before it writes to Health. EveryBand's Health path reads saved records; it is not a continuous Apple Watch stream.

Health export can also be deferred while the phone is locked. Unlock the iPhone, open Boop and allow processing to continue, then inspect the result. Bluetooth range, iOS background scheduling and source timing can all affect freshness. These steps do not guarantee an overnight refresh or an exact delivery time.

Separate missing inputs from missing scores

EveryBand's documented Health HRV input uses SDNN. It does not substitute for the local nightly RMSSD required by current Full Recovery. Some Health measurements can therefore be visible while Recovery stays unavailable.

Export has its own evidence requirements too. A local RMSSD or experimental interval estimate is not automatically a qualified Health SDNN record. Check the methodology before treating an absent export as a failed connection.

Ask for help without sharing your health history

If the issue remains, describe the direction, category, app version, iOS version and steps that failed through support. Keep health exports, biometric values and detailed diagnostic logs out of the contact form. Local status can help you describe the problem without sending personal records.
